I’m George Lisec. Computer Science student and aspiring Software Engineer.

Ever since I was little, I was obsessed with computers. I would always find my dad tinkering with hardware and finding ways to keep our family computer in top shape. Whether it was pirating macOS or enduring ear-bleeding Windows startup sounds, I was there to ask, “What’s that?” “Why do you need that?” and “Can I try?”

Throughout my childhood, computers became second nature to me, so when college came around, I naturally decided to pursue a degree in Computer Science.

Since then, my interest in computers has evolved into a love for programming, whether I am inside or outside the classroom. I developed a passion for building, which helped me focus on Software Engineering, and I have become more confident in that choice the more I learn. Now, I am trying to gain as much experience as I can through internships and side projects to prepare myself as a junior engineer.
